Our Staff

Alpha Phi Alpha Educational Talent Search is governed by the Epsilon Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated Board of Directors. The Board has placed the project under the leadership of Mrs. Vermell J. Leslie.  

As Executive Director for more than twenty years, Mrs. Leslie has provided leadership for a seasoned, capable staff.   Mr. Ranard Mattox, Program Coordinator, has diligently served program participants and collaborated with school personnel for the past twenty years. Ms. Patricia Denmark, Clerical Assistant, has provided clerical support for more than twenty years.  On March 1, 2012, Ms. Chamea Berrian joined the staff as the Academic Coordinator.  Her professionalism, dedication and personality blend well with the staff and its mission in serving area youth.
